The 11g USB Stick will connect your USB computer to the internet without wires. It works with Macintosh computers with a built-in or added USB port. Fully compatible with Apple AirPort cards and base stations, it complies with 802.11g/b standards. For internet access, an access point and internet connection are both required, or you can connect at your local hotspot. Great for iBooks! Works with OS 10.3 and above.

Issue: 11g USB Stick will stop functioning if user quits and restarts the WLan utility while the stick is plugged in.
Solution: After WLan utility is restarted, unplug the 11g USB Stick and plug it back in again.
Issue: MacWireless 11g USB Stick cannot connect to a network which has disabled SSID broadcast (also known as a closed network).
Description: The 11g USB Stick will connect to the network when SSID broadcast is enabled, but when broadcast is turned off, the stick loses connection.
Solution: Enable SSID broadcast. If necessary, use MAC address filtering instead.
Issue: Time Capsule hard disks do not show up in the network browser.
Solution: In Finder, go to the Go menu and choose Connect to Server. Enter the LAN IP address of your Time Capsule. Enter the username and password to access the disk as configured in AirPort Utility > Time Capsule > Disks > File Sharing. Once the drive is mounted, you can create an easy shortcut to it by control-clicking on the mounted disk and choosing Make Alias. You can even add the alias to your login items in System Preferences > Accounts if you want the drive to mount each time you start.
Issue: Bonjour enabled printers do not show up automatically when printing.
Solution: Find the IP address of your printer. This can often be done by printing a test page with status information. Set up your printer as an "IP Printer" in the print and fax preferences, using Internet Printing Protocol for your protocol. Once configured, it should show up as an option each time you print.
Issue: Bonjour (formerly known as Rondezvous) enabled devices do not show up in Safari.
Description: Bonjour enabled devices should automatically show up in Safari, but they do not.
Solution: Instead type in the IP addresses of these devices to connect to them.
Issue: When using the MacWireless 11g USB Stiick, AppleTV is not recognized by iTunes.
Solution: If you need to use AppleTV, use an 11n USB Stick instead.
